For ease (and since you all communicate anyway) I'll post all your results here.
Silver Jan attempted to kill Inner Stickler last Night, but before she could she was compelled to visit someone else and was redirected to peekercpa instead. Parzival investigates Meeko successfully. His role name is Deadeye Dick. dizzymrslizzy had no problems with blocking peekercpa.
This morning, dizzymrslizzy woke up feeling strange. It seems she's been infected with a virus.
That's all folks! Good luck with Day Two!

Arghhhh I don't like redirectors either boo. I wonder if Inner is the redirector or whether it's one of his buds.
Infected can be like a mad bomber. If enough people get infected he wins. A hostile third party type. Hmmmmm

So...should lizzy announce that she's been infected?
I think it would be Pro-Town to do so, because if she winds up dead Tomorrow (or Tonight, possibly) then the Town would know why, whereas if she keeps it to herself we (the Town as a whole) would never know there was a Poisoner out there.
And since it's not one of us, we're relatively 'safe'...whatever that means...

urgh! I don't like redirectors. We haven't killed a Townie yet. Well, there have only been 2 deaths so far, so that's perhaps statistically unlikely, but not by a whole lot. But... My wincon states "You win should scum make up half or more of the total population of the game, and they outnumber all other hostile entities." The first part of that is the standard Scum wincon. But do you think the second part suggest that there are a whole lot more Third Parties than normal? Perhaps a third faction? If there is another faction (or perhaps more than one), then might it be possible that we don't have any Town players at all?

Ok I think this is the time we need to start plotting together. I am very suspicious of Inner. He is the one that suggested before anything else came in that peeker was the "nexis" sort of blaming peeker for his own death. I'm thinking he is the redirector.
So if we can suggest somehow that it's Inner's fault that would be great otherwise the only way we can kill him is to use the "unstoppable kill"
I'm thinking that we figure out a way to say that one of us tried to investigate Inner and got sent to peeks.
Any ideas?

Yes mzlizzy I think you should come out and say you were infected. That will blast Inner's nexis theory out of the water. If peeker was the nexis he would have been infected not you. And it's the townie thing to do. Wouldn't you as a town person want to know that there is a mad bomber type running around>?

But what do I say.
I got a PM that I was infected by a virus ?
Was I doing anything that triggered the virus to attack me or just that I was targeted and got infected??

Don't worry about saying you were doing anything. A mad-bomber type role seems typical for this game [mad bomber wins if everyone gets infected, maybe]. And it's worth it to counter the 'nexus' idea. You see the town going the wrong way, and you call them on it. Hurts I.S.'s credibility a bit too.
This might lead to a counter-claim by someone, and it will likely lead lead to you getting extra suspicion put on you. Be prepared for that, but since we know as little about it as you go on with it. Be prepared if you have to partially claim (someone might ask if you are a particular species/prone to infection in some way).
If you want to, you can be a bit cagey about it, and say, "someone did something to me". However, people can be suspicious of it and being infected is probably not a good thing, so just come out with it.

On my investigation:
Deadeye Dick was in Pirates. He was scum-aligned but not with the scum, and had to make three kills to become scum. I expect the role has changed, but he could be recruitable.

The question is do we want Meeko on our side? He hurts my brain but seems to last till the later part of the game.

I'd say hold off on killing him at least. Maybe check him out later. We certainly don't know he's recruitable yet.
