I'm a wizard, I am!
So if I'm reading this right, we may all have the option of secondary power plus kill power. I'd rather stick with investigating, but let's see what the rest of you all have.
By the way, this is my first actual scum role, though I've had third party and restricted roles that required lying before. Haven't before had to influence voting much, though.

I think you're being too modest Parz. Aren't you the guy who won blade runner as a sk/investigator PFK?

Didn't win. Took it down to the wire. Then gambled it all on one shot with the odds against me (I only had a 25% chance of success). But really, previously I only had to work for myself. Now we have to work together without it looking that way. Gastardy & independent roles favor us a bit, but it could always turn against us I suppose.
So you've got a cover role, sinjin. My role was previously one of the good guys, I gather, which could help me.
Hopefully an investigation will help either me or one of us to use as a cover. I don't have to be the one that claims cop.

Hello folks! First things first: Pirates or Ninjas?
I prefer Pirates, but oh well...

Well I will probably claim doc if it comes to that given my fake role But only after the person I claim to have protected stays alive twice and I am under the gun. Given that you are an investigator and I am a fake doc I am afeerd that town and PFK's are rampant in this game. Sounds like fun Pollux sorry I killed you last time we were on the same team and lost the game for us all. Hopefully this time is the charm*. *sinjin who has never won as scum.

These sound like some interesting roles, of course if we all have powers as well as being a scum team, I wonder what the heck is out there for the Town team? Ughs.
Most of you know, this is my second game ever, and I was just a plain old vanilla town in the first. So here's to jumping in with two feet!

So it would appear we have Day Powers in this game, since we can block them.
Something to keep in mind, since it's a bit out of the ordinary.

I'm used to the last game, is it normal for there only to be 5 of us?

I'm used to the last game, is it normal for there only to be 5 of us? Seems about right for the type of game we are in.

The Mercenary
Is there any reason for us to ever get it? Since we have some powers, and are already scum, it doesn't seem all that worth it.
I can see a faint possibility of it being useful to bolster a claim. If we can claim power role, and have reserved the mercenary, we might be able to get out of a lynch by saying "please don't vote me, I had to get the merc for one night". But that seems a risky game to play.
Though there's always Gastardy to make us confused and want to look for more info.

Well, everyone in this game has powers. I can see where it could be useful for us to have the Mercenary working for us simply because that means he won't be working for anyone else, but I'm probably not going to go out of my way to hire him, at least in the early part of the game.
